☂ Client Needs
One Peace Festival is a one-day, all ages event that promotes Hip Hop's core principles of peace, love, unity, and having fun. The festival offers vendors an opportunity to showcase their goods and services, performing artists like DJs, breakdancers, and aerosol artists a medium to display their creativity, and sponsorship opportunities for organizations. The One Peace website was one of the first websites our founder designed with a previous company and was in need of an aesthetic refresh to update branding, font styles, and verbiage to reflect the growing festival.
☂ The Yellow Umbrella’s Impact
Yellow Umbrella analyzed and researched the current branding guidelines and styles and created graphics and sections on the website that feel more cohesive to the printed materials One Peace uses. With scroll-triggered moving elements and color-blocked elements, the new website displays festival information in an easy-to-read way and matches the overall vibe of the event to highlight the joyful atmosphere.
