Client Profile + Needs
Grand River Veterinary Hospital (GRVH) is a community-focused practice with a reputation for personal care, but their digital presence was significantly outdated. Their previous website, built in the early 2000s, was difficult for the office staff to maintain and lacked the functionality needed for a modern veterinary clinic. They needed a user-friendly platform that simplified administrative tasks and gave pet owners easy access to medical resources and services.
Yellow Umbrella Creative’s Impact
We overhauled the GRVH digital experience, moving the practice to a dynamic resource hub that prioritizes client convenience. We focused on building a website that empowers the internal team to manage their own content while providing a seamless interface for pet owners to find resources, med refills, and emergency services.
User-Centric Web Development: We designed and built a new website that aligns with the hospital’s customer-forward business model. This included establishing a fresh visual identity and writing clear, engaging copy that reflects their professional and compassionate approach to animal care.
Operational Integration: To reduce the administrative load on the office team, we integrated functional tools that were previously unavailable. We developed a custom digital form for prescription refill requests and created a organized library of partner links for services like prescription food delivery and parasite management.
Team Training & Maintenance: We built the site on a backend system that is easy for the GRVH staff to update. We provided hands-on training to the team, allowing them to manage employee bios, update service lists, and post community alerts independently.
